LISA PUTNAM

After graduation, Lisa moved to the Hawaiian island of Oahu, where she taught at Castle High School in Kaneohe. She currently works as a professional portrait photographer specializing in underwater surf environment. She provides mentoring services for aspiring photographers, including instruction on the technical, artistic, and legal aspects of running a business. She has traveled extensively throughout Asia, including Japan, China, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Cambodia.
JORDAN WELTMAN
Ithaca College, B.A., Anthropology
Jordan focused on Biological Anthropology and Environmental Studies at Ithaca College, researching genetic variations of humans, applications of mycelium, and the revival of the American chestnut. After graduation, he spent two years leading and developing community service programs for high school students in southeast and east Asia, while continuing his personal travels and circumnavigating the globe. He has traveled to 25 countries, including Cambodia, and lived in Thailand for three months, developing and leading travel programs. He has led trips to 12 different countries in Asia and Europe. Jordan worked as a chef at a restaurant in New Jersey where he incorporated flavors and experiences from his travels into the cuisine. He currently lives in Istanbul, Turkey, where he teaches 3rd and 4th grade English. He has led Putney’s Cultural Exploration Australia, New Zealand, & Fiji program.
